"Moving" Van Jones - the Communist Left?
Van Jones is gone! Now we are safe from the radical leftist revolutionary vision or are we? Of course not! The Tzars as appointed by Obama did NOT have to go through the vetting process like others in goverment. Other Tzars have such huge portfolios like manufacturing, automotive and then 4 jobs within the goverment. Congress has nothing to say about it as usual. We have the Presidents school speech.
Obama could have put out a 5 min web video or 5 min webcast. Bush went into the schools nad read books to the kids Reagan 'just said no." It was not so much what Obama was going to say but there are laws regarding the localized distribution of curriculum by the Fed. This is a law for obvious reasons. The White House developed the worksheet and the Department of Education rubber-stamped it. It was not so much that Obama was putting agenda items into the speech for the kids which is wrong but to create an indoctrination program across the nation is scarry, dangerous and insidious.
I have the original lesson plan for the K-6 kids. It does things I was taught in college are done by cults and goverments brainwashing their population. Its the obvious fact that this speech and the lesson plan do an end-run around parents, communities and local school districts. It puts out and sets up a "culture of support" within each classroom and school. This is like a 12 step program but not with a Diety as the higher power but the Almoighty Fed and Obama as the messiah here to save us from ourselves. This is the United States of America. We do nto have a king. We do not have royalty. We are not a cult and we do not like shady politicians completely over stepping their authority and unraveling the fabric of the seperation of powers and the fact the goverment works for the people not the people working for the Fed.
Obama is president. He did win the election. He has a right to go into the schools like every other president. How many liberal parents pulled their kids from the schools when Bush went to their school? There are benefits to presidents such as the bully pulpit but are 4-12 year olds the proper taget of that bullying? Let obama go and say what he is going to say but good grief is 90 minutes necessary? How many little kids can sit there for 90 minutes? What is the alternative kids who parents opt them out are going to get? Telling kids to wash their hands is good advice but is it good to repeatedly ask kids what the president wants them to do? Is asking a kid how he can serve the president the same as telling a kid to study hard? It not the fact obama is going to speak to the kids but WHAT the message targeted to young kids actually is.
This is America pursuade me, compromise with me but dont brainwash our kids.
