This Generational Crisis: The Fourth Turn
Generation X is now reaching mid-life. The end of World War 2 was over 60 years ago. The end of Korea was over 50. The end of Veitnam was over 30 years ago. The end of the Cold War will turn 20 next year. The reader can relate to one of these most people will assume. The children of today and I mean 20 year old childern of today are a world away from the events of the rescent past. There is now no historical context. They no more can relate to the Cold War as World War 2 or the Civil War for that fact. They are lost to history.
This hit me totally by accident. Thank you radical communism or I would have totally missed this one. The "intellectual" retort or blathering idiacy "your not for history." What the hell do you mean I am not for history? How can I avoid history if I wanted too? Thats the point! These people are lost to history. Education has not taught history in at least a decade. No event has brought them together. In historical cycles there has not yet been a generational crisis.
Iraq is a war. Really? Its not a war like other wars. Its only news when we are failing. Hear much about Iraq? In a presidential election what do you hear about Iraq? Yes Iraq is a war and it is not yet, at least, become an issue that effects the "average Joe." Some crisis that galvanizes a generation has not yet happened. I think Obama might be the crisis that defines the generation. A marxist communist becoming president would definately usher in a crisis.
Even Joe Biden had to admit that! He got some of it wrong though. Barack Hussein Obama is not like any other leader in over 60 years. America is in a social crisis but has not reacted. Nothing alone is big enough to demand action but a bunch of moderate crisises. We are exactly like Germany in the 1920's and 30's. When a politician just like Barack Hussein Obama made it big in just as big of a flash. Preaching socialism this leader spoke eloquently and had charisma larger than life. Barack Hussein Obama has surrounded himself with radicals. Some of them so radical that have stated they might have to kill 25 million people who will never accept socialism!
He is a broken psyche. Adolf hitler has issues with his mother and father. Barack Hussein Obama has just such issues. Being abandoned by a mother and two Muslim fathers has to have an effect. Is it something to be concerned about? They both speak the same social fixes and changes. Do you think Barack Hussein Obama will be controllable? Could that be the difference between the two figures? The wealthy class in Germany thought they could controll Hitler so they financed him even though he spoke radicalism. Socialism is socialism and the similiarities scare me.
I have quipped that with Obama there will be a civil war or a world war. I do fear this. I do fear Barack Hussein Obama will be an "anti-christ" like Hitler ws an "anti-chirst." I do see that future if we fail at dealing with our crisis. If we succeed we can rebuild the country and world renewing humanity for another 100 years. We can likewise fail and plunge history into a dark time unlike any known for ten thousand years. I was raised to hate communism. I remember the longest war. The Cold War lessons are not known by the new generation. They don't know the terror and horrors. They can't understand it without real education. The media will not do it because it benefits their position.
Beware the goverment media complex (Michael Savage) is more that a warning. There is an unholy brainwashing in support of Barack Hussein Obama nationwide. It is not normal. It has never happened in this country before. The youth are restless. This is such a dangerous time for a flirt with marxism. Communism is a terrible danger. It will decimate this country and lead to a civil war. If there is not a warld war this country will fall apart. This country will become misery itself. Then we will fall into tyrrany and we will repeat National Socialism in our own way. One way or another Barack Hussein Obama will force a meltdown and yes history will be made. It is arogance to presume that you have control over history. History moves on its own and always repeats itself.
Mabe the US will go to war or Israel will go to war with Iran and maybe others in the region and save us from this other prospect. Otherwise I am scared that the historical distance will make too many forget. I do not want to repeat history and doom my children to another century like the last one.

Strauss and Howe's work no longer has the credibility it once had. As many prominent experts these days have noted, Obama is a member of Generation Jones–born 1954-1965, between the Boomers and GenXers.
